Meditation

When we have space within the mind, we get more clarity of thought, clarity with decision making which brings more peace into our whole being.

Meditation is a process of training our mind to focus and redirect our thoughts, lifting our mood and enhancing our wellbeing. Meditation can wipe away the day’s stress, bringing with it inner peace and tranquillity. Leaving us better able to cope with day-to-day life.

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years and today Meditation is commonly used for relaxation and stress reduction.

Meditation is considered a type of mind-body complementary medicine. Meditation can produce a tranquil mind and deep state of relaxation.

During meditation, we focus our attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding our minds and causing us stress. This process may result in enhanced physical and emotional well-being.

We can use meditation to increase awareness of ourselves and our surroundings. Meditation is a way to reduce stress and develop clearer concentration and bring that inner peace back into our lives.

The practice of a meditation can help to develop other beneficial habits and feelings, such as a positive mood and outlook, self-discipline, healthy sleep patterns, and even increased pain tolerance.

We offer a variety of meditation types to suit the event. Options can be discussed prior.

BREATHWORK (Pranayama)
Pranayama is the ancient practice of controlling your breath. You control the timing, duration, and frequency of every breath .

The goal of pranayama is to connect your body and mind. It also supplies your body with oxygen while removing toxins. 

The deep practice of mindful breathing is therapeutic to the mind, body, and spirit. If you are looking for inner peace, clarity, self-soothing, you are in the right place.
Breathwork is a beautiful and powerful practice where a lot of emotions may be released, so plenty of time is given to settle, ground and connect into the divine being that you are.

According to scientific studies, pranayama may benefit your health in a variety of different ways. Decrease, stress, improves sleep, boosts immune system, increases mindfulness, reduces high blood pressure, improves lung function,

We start by setting an intention for the practice.

What do you want to let go of? What is not serving you?
What do you want to bring new into your life?

We will start with the breath, bringing in either a Restorative or Yin yoga practice, opening up and expanding the energy channels, then moving onto a guided meditation which will take you into a state of pure relaxation. Essential oils & Crystals may be used to deepen our blissful states. We will weave Sound Healing through Our Sacred Journey to enhance and deepen the whole experience. You get to feel the vibrations of the Sound through & around the body, At the end of the practice, we have the option to connect with everyone and reflect on your insights and practice (if you are in a space to participate) and to share some yummy food & herbal teas .
